This winter season is not done quite yet. With temperatures fluctuation, from being freezing cold to being 70 degrees and sunny ( keep in mind that I do live in Texas so this outfit is mostly fit for warmer states). To start off I would like to say that in my opinion this outfit is unisex. Let's begin, the top is the Cropped Turtleneck Knit Sweater by MIXXMIX which is actually on sale right now for $21.84 ( from $27.30) is a warm thick sweater that is styled by the turtleneck and the cropped detail with long sleeves adding asymmetric balance to the overall look.
Next we have the Black Design Forum kimono jacket by River Island. Unfortunately it is sold out at this time but I will leave a substitute here. While I am aware that the jacket is not the warmest thing in the world, but as I previously stated this is based on my type of weather. The jacket creates a chic silhouette and adds flow to accentuate the illusion of movement in the outfit. The jeans are the White Ripped Jamie Jeans by MOTO, these jeans are $75.00 on Topshop. They are nothing special as far as jeans go but simplicity is the look we are going for but the ripped detail in the knee give the jeans give them a more 'grunge' look. Now for the watch, the Black Suede Kensington 40 Gold & Black by Abbott Lyon going for $119 on Wolf & Badger. The watch is a 40mm in diameter watch (which is the only size listed on the website) that is a staple piece in any outfit basic or, more upscale, it can easily blend into any other accessories that you might add to the outfit. Next we have the most expensive item for this outfit which is the Leather Backpack by Mansur Gavriel selling on Modalist for a non wallet friendly $1,181.00. Because of the very disheartening price tag I will leave an alternative here. This bag is absolutely top notch when it comes to quality. the bag features a vegetable tanned leather with a drawstring to close the bag itself along with a flap that conceals the drawstrings. Of course you can use any type of bag with this outfit, but there is something about its plain white design that just makes this outfit feel unified. Moving on to the bottom row, we have the shoes that are the Rockstud Combat Boots by Valentino Garavani, that comes out to be $718.00 right now which is a steal because that is actual with the 60% discount (originally $1,795.00) so you are getting a very good deal. If you believe that you absolutely cannot wear this outfit without these shoes then now would be the time to get them before the price rises. Here are an alternate pair that is a little bit more budget friendly. The shoes feature a stealth black finish of genuine leather with an adjustable strap with a silver buckle. With these shoes they give off a grunge/punk aesthetic with the strap. Making the outfit seem more street chic. Second to last, we have the glasses. They are the Retro Noir Round Acetate Sunglasses by Miu Miu. While they're not the most unique in design, they share many similarities with simple aviator glasses. Plus considering the $390.00 price tag somewhat feels like you could get something similar for a cheaper price, so here is an alternative that won't break the bank. The glasses feature a 100% UV protection percentage which explains the deep black of the lenses, with a gold metal frame. Lastly we have the which is also unfortunately sold out, so I will leave an alternative here, the hat is a wide brim wool hat with a deep black finish. Its material is the second reason I picked this specific hat because of its insulating power, keeping your head warm while out and about in the cold. I hoped you enjoyed what in my opinion are the winter essentials for 2017. I will leave the link to my Polyvore account here, where the outfit is. Feel free to check out my other outfits I have created on there. Let me know if you would like either a post or a video talking about one of my outfits.
